Jacob R. Miller (b.2003)

is an American singer-songwriter and composer based in Maine. He received his Bachelors of Music from the Osher School of Music. He has studied composition under Dr. Daniel Sonenberg and Hans Indigo Spencer. Jacob uses music to express the inexpressible emotions and actions of the human experience. When emotions become too strong to speak Jacob utilizes music to go the mile. Jacob is inspired by the sounds of Americana music, Aaron Copland, Tomoaki Hirono, Joe Hisaishi, Jeff Buckley, and Maurice Ravel. In his free time, Jacob Miller enjoys woodworking, writing poetry, and living life to the fullest.

While studying at the Osher School Of Music I took a class called Business of the Performing Arts that was offered through the theatre department. While in this course I got the opportunity to sit down and talk about my work as a composer!
